Carol Edwards

Carol A. Edwards, Ph.D., is Emerita Professor of Mathematics and retired Associate Dean of Mathematics, Science, Engineering & Technology, St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, and currently serves as a part-time Learning Facilitator at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. She was on the faculties of the University of Hawaii at Hilo, Saint Louis University, and St. Louis Community College. She served on a number of NSF panels in Washington reviewing proposals in mathematics and mathematics education. She has served in numerous volunteer capacities for local, state, regional and national organizations, such as the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics, TODOS: Mathematics for ALL, Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Mathematics Educators of Greater St. Louis. She is currently the Executive Secretary of TODOS and a trustee of the NCTM Mathematics Education Trust. She received her B.A. in mathematics from the University of California-Berkeley and her M.A. and Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign.
